- I just received this order from Walmart today to add to the matching 12 piece set I have used for 22 years! (And my current dishes look new, like the day I bought them!) I LOVE these dishes. The are light weight and look and feel very elegant. The stack nicely in a small space and they are almost indestructible!! I lost fine motor skills in my hand due to nerve damage, so I drop EVERYTHING. I cannot tell you how many times these dishes have hit my granite counter-top or my ceramic floor and NOT broken! They ARE glass, but somehow they are almost impossible to break. I have broken a couple of the 22 years, but only a couple! Oh, and they do not chip either! I cannot say enough how much my husband and I love these dishes. I was thrilled to get this set, because it gave me the small dessert bowls and the 8.5″ lunch plates. I did not have those two in my 22 year old set. I highly recommend these dishes and this set is an unbelievable price. It averages about $1.64 per dish!!!
- When our old Corelle set was wearing out, I looked for replacements. I found this set that was about the same price as three 4-place setting sets. (I paid about $130, not sure why it’s now listed as $180). Anyway, faced with having to add serving pieces, I opted for this. It does not have any coffee cups/mugs and saucers, but we rarely used those in the old set. So there are three different sized plates, three different sized bowls (including a low soup bowl that’s the same size as the lunch plates and perfect for soups, chili, stews, and sloppy casseroles). Also included are two serving bowls and two oblong platters. This makes it a much better fit for our use than buying mulitples of the 4-place setting packages. I was worried about damage during shipping, but it came in a doubled boxed package with 2″ of dead space around the inner box and lots of packing material between the pieces. We’ve been using it for the family visits during the holidays and have been quite satisfied with the set.
- This delicate, elegant, classic dinnerware is a valuable find. I completed it with the eye hook cups and really llos stunning. Arrived before the expected delivery date and in perfect condition. Great experience !
- This set includes all the essentials and then some for a large family. Each plate and bowl is less than $2!! This is a much better value than the 16 or 20 piece settings that are available in store, and it leaves out the tiny mugs that are useless for most serious coffee drinkers. If you are familiar with corelle, then you know they quality and color to expect. These live up to the corelle name, and give you a great bang for your buck.
- I was looking for Corelle ware and saw that Walmart had this 96 piece set in stock at a bargain price. Many sites, as I am sure you are all aware of, wanted almost $100 or more for the exact thing. I chose this and it literally arrived 2 days later. They are keeping on top of all orders shipping them out so they don’t get backlogged. I can only assume that since I chose free shipping and it would arrive in a few weeks, standard. This product is an absolute pitch perfect product for my needs. I like a light held plate and use it in the microwave. I do not drink coffee and did not want to order any dinnerware with cups and saucers included. The salad plates are fantastic! They are absolutely what I wanted. Enough room for a nice salad for a stand alone dinner if you wanted something light or wanted to pile it on. Corelle is a fine product and I didn’t want something heavier like stoneware. This to me was my bargain find for this year. I was totally impressed. Enough so that once I got an email and asked to comment on this product, I clicked it and followed through. You won’t be the least bit disappointed if you are a Corelle fan. You won’t be disappointed even if you have never tried this product.
- I saw the price on this item drop and knew it was time to buy. The package was delivered days before the original tracking date. This is some beautiful dishware.
- Really worth for the money. One desert bowl edge was a little damaged but i will not be returning it as everything else is as expected. Happy with the purchase! Wish they had a offer like this in the square version.
- I chose plain white because I easily tier of patterns and white never goes out of style and Corelle is the best these dishes are thin but strong they don’t take up as much space or chip as stoneware does.
- I ordered this set as a gift for my daughter. Several pieces were broken during shipping. The CSM opened the box at the service desk because she and I both heard rattling of glass……….sure enough, broken. Set was returned and I was able to order the same set through the 800 number at the same rollback price as the first set. I am now waiting for the second set to arrive.
