• I Just received this cute mid sized kitchen, FedEx took forever to deliver it, more than a week..or maybe I was just so excited to get it and I wasn’t patient enough.. But so far so good, it is not as big as it looks in the picture, which is a good thing to me it fits perfectly in my small kitchen, make sure you check the dimensions. The plastic is durable, looks like my 3yr old will play with it for a while. I am glad I did not buy other brands that use cheap plastic and cardboards. I wish the installation manual could also explain in writing other than just pictures. I am still trying to figure out how to safely drill in the screws but it looks like it would be simple for someone who is book-smart, I am just not.. All in All, I would buy it over and over, I am more excited about it more than how my 3yr old is. It will buy me more to do other stuff while she plays with it, and no more watching too much TV (:)
• I ordered this way in advance for my daughters 2nd birthday on October 27th. I just opened it today while my kids were napping because I wanted to put it together. It was missing the hardware to put it together, the recycle bin and the other smaller bin, and the cupcakes! I called and they will be sending the parts which should arrive next week. I am so glad I opened this in advance and not the night before her birthday to discover that stuff was missing. Despite the fact that stuff was missing, it looks like it will be very easy to put together and I know she will love it! I was able to kind of put it together…the stuff just slides into place then you screw it together. I uploaded a picture of it.
• Bought this as a gift for my 2 year old granddaughter and she LOVES it! I didn’t put it together, but I think it was an easy task.
• This was actually a gift for my Goddaughter and her parents put it together and told me it took them about an hour, which is why I rated the “ease of set up” as good instead of excellent. Otherwise, her parents are absolutely overjoyed with the item and that’s all that counts. My Goddaughter is a year and 1/2 old and she understands what this toy is and even surprised her mom by “teaching her” how to “frost” the cupcakes – meaning, she removed the plastic frosting on one cupcake and showed her mom that it was interchangeable with the other cupcakes. Her mom (my sister) was absolutely THRILLED that she caught on even at such a young age. My sister tells me that not a day goes by that she doesn’t play on her mini-kitchen just like her mommy!
• I bought this kitchen for my granddaughter for Christmas. She is just under three and a little tall for her age but this kitchen is the perfect size for her. It fits nicely in her room and is really cute. She loves playing with it and loves the added highchair for her babies. It seems very durable and like it will last her for quite a while.
• I recently bought this kitchen for my 21 month old daughter. She loves it. The whole thing is cute, especially with the chair for a baby doll. It was easy to put together. It comes with dishes/silverware and cupcakes but no other food. We had to buy the food separately. It also does not come with a doll for the chair but she has plenty of dolls already that work just fine. The boiling and sizzling noises for the stove are fun! I would definitely recommend this item!
• My almost 4 yr old granddaughter loves her kitchen! somewhat easy to put together although when screwing in the burner be careful because when you turn the counter over you can see and feel the tips of the sharp screws but once you permanently install the counter that shouldn’t be a problem And not sure why you would install the baby hi seat next to kitchen sink? Overall a good buy!
• I made this purchase for my 2 yr old daughter. The high chair is what sold me. Since she sits in one, she could experience my mommy side, when cooking and feeding her. It is so cute and just the right size. I bought extra dishware and groceries which was not needed. Very little space for extra storage. Still, the likeness of the pan sizzling and the pot boiling is so awesome. Definitely a good buy.
• Got this for my 2 year olds birthday, She absolutely loves it. Perfect size and she can grow with. Took about 30 mins to assemble and put on stickers.
• My daughter received this as a gift and absolutely loves it! She plays with it everyday. Has all the colors and features I was looking for and none of the annoying beeping or buzzing noises. It was very easy to assemble and is the perfect size.
• The kitchen itself is an excellent product, beautiful and very durable; I didn’t give the 5 stars overall rating because Walmart send me the most damage box I have ever seen in this kind of online purchases.. They put the original Step2 box into another brown box but, as I bought it to send overseas I had to take a look before shipping, and when I opened the brown box I realized why they used it; the original Step2 box was wet and awful broken. I had to check that everything was inside and in perfect condition, and then do my best fixing it with a lot of tape to be able to ship it.. unfortunately I couldn’t returned it because my client was already waiting for the kitchen , so, no time to wait for another one.. I hope this was an unique case and be aware If you want it for a present.
• When item was received it the package was discolor and the whole bottom of the unit was broken off will like to know how did this pass thru walmart quality for despatch the local stores are not taking back the item i know have to pay transport to get it the postal Miss the dead line of giving this as a gift very disappointed
