Reviews
- I was able to look at a nice selection of 4K models before choosing this one. I must admit I am a Samsung guy so I do gravitate towards their selection. As usual, I was not disappointed. The setup took minutes and the TV was up and running. Brilliant colors and easy to use.
- Wow, what a crisp and clear picture. The detail and clarity of the screen is amazing. Easy to set up, blended with my other components perfectly.
- I decided on the UN60JS7000FXZA 4K Ultra HD Smart TV based on reviews and my history with Samsung TV’s. It has a great picture and my family and I really enjoy it. It does have a robust sound/speakers in the TV, but I run all my sound through my receiver/surround sound system. The only negative is that the field of view is not as great as my old plasma, however that’s an issue all LED TV’s have. I priced Best Buy vs online retailers, and they were within a couple $. Very easy process to pick up at my local store within 2 hours of placing the order online.
- This tv has an amazing picture and is awesome with the integrated apps. It was easy to set up and has a some of the highest definition images I’ve ever seen.
- This is a great smart 4K tv. I purchased the 60 inch and love it. Not to mention I got a free year of Netflix with the purchase.
- I am so happy with my first flat screen smart TV
Everyone that comes to my home is like WOW!!! what a beautiful picture. Although there are not many 4k movies or shows out at this time I have been scanning YouTube 4k and the shorts are just incredible! Can’t wait for the 4K dvd player and the movies to come out One thing that still disappointing is the sound, which is not cause of any smart tv, is the sounds varies from one show to another on the same channel when you change channels the volume varies, We need to get this standardized across all channels very frustrating as you constantly need to adjust the volume
- Having read reviews online i ventured to Best Buy to check them out for myself and i’m glad i did. All of my concerns were answered by Kim ( BB sales rep) and I was able to compare the picture quality of other similar televisions and that really made the difference for me as I feel it should for any one purchasing a new set.. Overall I’m a very pleased consumer and it was a great shopping experience.
- this product is almost perfect—it’s hard to compare to others since it’s the only tv in the room—color and picture excellent—I’m working on my receiver to get surround sound which will improve the sound quality
- I’m a TV junkie, not TV as in the programming or shows, but more like the actual hardware. I’m obsessed with a sleek tv that has the most clear, crisp images. From the moment I turned this TV on the whole dynamic in my living room has changed. I find myself watching any and all games just because I can’t stop admiring the picture. This is my first smart TV and the capabilities are endless. We had a dinner party and I was able to stream Pandora for hours through the TV. I could go on all day about how happy I’ve been so far, but it’s Saturday and there’s football on.
- Surprised to see this many good reviews for the TV. Here is my experience, both good and bad:
1) Picture: This picture is good but not great. In fact, the out of the box settings weren’t great at all. I went online and found specific calibration settings and went in and made all of those changes, without much improvement, so reverted to the default. The reds are a bit strong across the board and require some adjustment. Too much sunburn on everything.
2) Judder: I did a lot of research on TV’s prior to this purchase and got an education in new terms like “Judder” and interpolation, and input lag. I am not overly picky, so despite the poor ratings on judder for this tv, i bought it anyway. If you like to watch football on TV, you don’t want this TV. Lots of judder. Just occasionally gets choppy for a few seconds, almost like your satellite signal is about to go out. I do have satellite but I don’t think that is what was causing this judder.
3) Resolution: This tv seems to have very clear resolution on up close shots, but when viewing smaller details (like football players from the tv/field view) it is really fuzzy. Less clear than the 1080p LG i replaced with this TV. The was a definite deal breaker for me.
4) Input lag: Another new term to me but now I get it. Despite buying 28g hdmi cables, there is significant audio input lag. For example, when changing channels the picture comes on, but the audio lags behind for another second or two. So you see the show, but without audio for a couple of seconds. I know this seems small, but its crazy annoying to me.
5) Easy Set up: The best part may have been set up. It was very fast, and it synced immediately and easily with my wifi. Apps are pretty easy and accessible.
All of this has led me to the decision to return this tv. Maybe its the 60z, maybe its something else, but for me this tv is just not worth the 1500.00 I paid for it. I guess the last point is the one I already knew–namely, that 4k content just isn’t there yet. I knew this going in, but having had the TV for a week, and there being no real content of significance to access—its just not worth it to me at this time.
