- This desk was okay for the price. It is made with cheap materials but for this price that’s what you expect. It looks good and seems sturdy enough but the roll out keyboard shelf tends to stick. Also the instructions leave a lot out making it difficult to assemble.

- I was tired when I put this together. Brown desk, no hint of red or cherry. Be careful not to tighten screws at an angle. Make sure you’re doing it straight otherwise it will break through the particle board. Desk is sturdier than I thought it would be. Decent guilty for the price. Looks nice, overall great purchase!

- Ordered for store pick up and thought it was packaged extremely well. Not sure home delivery would have packaged as well. All pieces accounted for and in perfect condition. Instructions were perfectly clear and must be followed exactly. Only one piece was tricky with just me assembling it but I got it. I separated and identified all screws, assembly pieces, etc. and that made it easier when I was doing it. I had no problems putting this desk together. It only requires a Phillips head screw driver and a small hammer. I didn’t have any problems with the trim caps either. Runners for the keyboard slide are heavy duty, well made. This seems to be a sturdy little desk and should last a long time. I am very pleased with this purchase. It does weigh 50 lbs. so if you can lift the box it comes in, you can easily pick up the desk once it’s assembled. I had no problems setting it up and thought the box was very heavy. It is particle board and there were a couple of very minor flaws that a brown Scripto can easily fix. The back is unfinished so it does need to go up against a wall. Mine isn’t so I’m going to slap some dark brown duck tape across the unfinished areas and hope it sticks. All in all, a great bang for the buck! So far, I am very pleased with this purchase.
- The box was shrink-wrapped, there were extra cardboard edges to seemingly protect the product. I carefully removed pieces to assemble the desk. One was broken. It appeared that someone (as they were packaging) dropped the piece on the corner.
