- This tablet works great and fast. Magnetic dock for the keyboard is a really nice feature. The tablet has the appearance of being cheaply made with it’s matte black plastic and it feels light, but has massive internal storage and an SD card slot for storage of photos and music. Keyboard works much like a laptop with a nice feel and even has a finger pad for the mouse. I recommend a screen protector to protect your investment. This tablet has worked flawlessly since I purchased it and for the money it is a bargain.
- Our IPad died but I didn’t want to pay $300+ for a new one. All we needed was something that let us surf the net, read books and receive email. Set up was super easy and fast. It found my wifi immediately. I just moved a few things around on the home page to suit us, downloaded my Kindle books, downloaded a few Apps and I was set. It’s an Android and they have tons of Apps to choose from. We love having a keyboard but it can easily be taken off to be handheld.The keyboard folds over like a laptop does to create a hard top. No need for a case to put it in unless you want something with a handle or strap. I wish I had bought this for my 80 year old mother instead of the Kindle. I find it difficult to work with.

The keyboard is a good size for real typing. This is my first Android device and so my challenge will be in learning how to adapt to all the features. Aside from that….for this price you cannot find a better selection.
- The tablet itself is pretty good, does and works as described and I love having the detachable keyboard. All together it’s a bit heavy but the tablet alone is pretty nice. The only thing stopping me from giving this 5 stars is that Android 5.0 lollipop is not compatible with many apps in the google play store! You can’t install Periscope or Meerkat which was my primary reason for wanting a bigger tablet. It just says “Your device isn’t compatible with this version.” and Periscope “help” is a joke too, so no idea what’s going on. The price is great, the features are great, it works great and I would recommend this as long as you don’t care about a lot of the apps you already use on your phone or older tablets. I’ll update this reviews and stars as I find out more about getting apps to work.

- Like all Android devices, you need to sign in using your Gmail account (or create one) in order to take advantages of all feature, such as email, Play Store and most apps. You are prompted to do this during initial setup. The problem is…. when you setup with Google via your Gmail account,, for some reason, this causes the screen brightness feature to default to full brightness all the time and is then not adjustable. This naturally is uncomfortable most of the time and kills the battery very quickly. After figuring this out, I factory reset the tablet numerous times, using the Google/Gmail signup and times skipping that option. Skipping the option allows the tablet to function perfectly, but severely limits its capability without signing in. I check this several times and researched it to make sure it was not some option I missed or a block somewhere else I checked or didn’t. This seems more like something a future software upgrade would address when numerous people complain about this. As is… DO NOT PURCHASE depending on that happening.
