- I am pleased with the bookshelf, it matches the nite stand and chest bought previously. It was a little harder to assemble though.
- Beautiful piece! I got the TV stand and end table to match, along with this, and it all matches beautifully! Took a couple hours to put together. Thought it would be more difficult to put together than it was. Was pretty easy once you read the instructions!
- I got this bookcase and a few sets of the cubes from the same brand/manufacturer. The weathered rustic look does match for it all to come together in the same room. Sturdy and thick pressboard. The cubes were easy to assemble, however this bookcase has pieces that are supposed to slide across the front as a type of decorative ledge on the front face of both the left and right side. Very Very difficult to slide these pieces, I ended up having to hammer the end on one and it slowly squished it.
- Like the shelf would like one with more shelf’s. One thing i did not like is having to put together especially the back panel
- We purchased this bookcase, along with 3 other pieces from the crossmill collection. These are all beautiful pieces, somewhat simple to put together. My husband put this together by himself in less than an hour. Seems sturdy, not like flimsy fake wood that other walmart furniture is made of.
- Love the look of the book case. I am doing a sea side themed room and it goes so well. It is sturdy once assembled. One of the assembly steps was difficult. The caps that were suppose to slide on ( I think in step three) needed to be hammered a bit to get them on which causes the ends to split a little since it isn’t real a wood product. Not too noticeable since its on the bottom and I glued them back and c clamped it till it dried. Think it is well worth it for the price. I looked at and compared a lot of different bookcases before I purchased. Now that it’s together I still would have picked this one.
- We just bought this after falling in love with our crossmill TV stand. However this didn’t seem as simple to put together (allbeit there is a lot less steps). Some of the wood was chipping along the groves to slide pannels togethertogether. All in all though it’s a beautiful collection and meets our needs!
- While I own almost the entire line of this furniture, I was incredibly disappointed in the bookcase. It arrived packaged for shipping just as everything else was, but, upon opening it was discovered that there were several broken pieces inside the box. I had to call the company and order the pieces, waited five days to finish putting together the bookcase that had been lying in pieces on my floor. The backing was also incredibly miss-cut and had to be cut down with a box cutter to fit properly. Once put together, the bookcase has a slight angle/tilt to it because of miss-drilled holes.
