- Love the item and the walmart value. The only minus is the shipping or perhaps its somewhere along the warehouse transport. There are some dents/cracks and damages on the pieces. Luckily the piece with the damage is the door, which I don’t plan on putting on. I bought this wardrobe planning on using it open without the doors. Yes, like one of the reviews mentioned above, the shipping is poor.
- As with almost everything I order from Walmart in the past couple of years, this and the other pieces had minor cosmetic damage from mishandling. I’m sure FedEx had a hand in that also. Otherwise, it does what it’s supposed to. All the pieces were there. The damage isn’t noticeable unless one looks close. Since my wife and I are the only ones who’ll see it, that’s not enough of a problem for me to bother returning it. I pretty much expect this level of service any more. I’m going to remodel our master bath/closet area and needed a place to store everything that was in the closet. Two of these, two wardrobes, and a couple of temporary “closets” helped tremendously with that.
- We have tried a couple of other closets ans had to return them as they broke while puttting them together.This unit went together with very little trouble.the only negative we had was the odor.We knew there would be some, but this was strong.I would suggest putting the parts in a room or porch and use a dehumidifier for a day as we did or let it air next to a window or fan.It only last for a few days,but if you have children or people who have breathing problems ,I would want to use caution.Believe me most products all have this issue unless you pay a great deal for wood.This is a great starting unit for a closet to hold winter coats and boots ,etc.We are going to get two more as this price is very good compared to other stores.I really like walmarts as they have always backed their products and are willing to work with you.
- We recently purchased this wardrobe for our son’s room in our new house which doesn’t have a closet. It has a wooden rod for hanging clothes, a shelf in the top, and enough room in the bottom for us to store his shoes, blankets and a plastic storage drawer. It’s big enough to hang his summer clothing and we store the rest of his fall/winter things. We really like this wardrobe so far. My advice to anyone purchasing it is if you cannot lift heavy objects make sure you have someone to help you with this. It is very heavy and I barely got it in the house to assemble it. Other than the heavy part it as very easy to assemble.
- Taller than I expected. Have no complaints. All the parts were in great condition and no scratches or corners smashed in on the wood. Walmart did a great job mailing it to my home.
- Love it! Instructions were easy to follow except for when it comes to the door hinges. We had them backwards and had to loosen and turn around. Make sure you separate all the small screws first. My husband grabbed 2 wrong and we had to remove and redo them. I counted and separated everything first but the small ones are only 2 eights difference.
- The side pieces of the wardrobe were both broken when the package arrived at my house. The corners of these pieces were completely broken off. I returned the product to my closest Walmart and I got my money back without any problem.
