- I ordered on a sunday and had it shipped to my local fed ex store and it was there by tuesday. Once my husband put it together, I was pleasantly surprised by the size. Its perfect for the corner of my dining room. And the top surface is much bigger than it looks in the picture. I ordered it for the wine rack and glass storage, but we made the top a mini bar. We have bottles of alcohol, cocktail glasses, shot glasses,nbeer mugs, and our corkscrews all organized on the top. We had been looking for a wine rack for a while and prices were always $100 plus so this was a steal. Now the only thing left to do is fill it with wine!
- This wine rack is just as pictured. It holds 24 bottles like the description says, and it holds bottles of all sizes (reasonably of course), I even have a couple large champagne bottles on the bottom rack and they sit fine. I put it together by myself in about 30 mins, and it only took that long because I wasn’t paying attention to which riveted planks were the “front” and which were the “back” since they’re not labeled, but pretty obvious. The color is a very dark brown, but not close to black, just a gorgeous deep brown (you can see the color comparison to my black bed in the picture). It feels very sturdy once put together, I would be perfectly comfortable placing an open bottle and multiple glasses on top. Great buy for the price!
- I love love love this wine rack! It’s made out of REAL wood, and is sturdy! I put it together by myself and it took maybe a half hour, not even. I didn’t use wood glue like other reviewers mentioned and its still perfect! Went together fairly easy too!
- We are in a condo with very limited space and this wine rack was exactly what I was looking for. I was able to free up some cabinet space as there is a rack for hanging wine glasses. It also accommodates the wider based wine bottles (champagne, Noirs etc). My husband assembled this in about 20 minutes. Note: When taking pieces out of the box, lay it all out. You will see that half of the “rack” pieces have larger “scallops/indents?” and the other half are smaller. All indents face upward and all the larger go in the back and the smaller will go in the front. I noticed that some of the reviews stated that instructions were minimal. Once you lay out the pieces and get everything lined up, assembly is pretty quick. Con: Our rack had variations in the finish, like they put it in the box before the stain was dry. Thus, 4 stars. It wasn’t too bad to return it though. Maybe one day I will sand it down and re-stain it. Otherwise, nice wine rack, pretty sturdy and at a very reasonable price.
- Love it! It was very easy to put together and it was taller than I expected and the top was larger too! My only problem was with FedEx. I paid to have it delivered before Christmas and it didn’t arrive. FedEx delivered it on the 28th and I was tracking it. Said it was on our porch at 1PM! It was on our neighbors porch and they brought it over to us but I had already complained to FedEx that it hadn’t been delivered and they never called me back!
- I love this wine rack. It holds several bottles of wine plus has a place for wine glasses. I have had one for several years and purchased one for my daughter last year and now we have purchased one for another daughter! Soon everyone in the family will have one!
- Assembled well with no problems. Paid for espresso color, why it was so much more than the other color I cannot explain. Wood itself was of different pieces, so the stain and grain was uneven. Basic functionality of the unit was good. Looks much better in the picture than what is received.
