- My sister-in-law is staying with us during the holidays so I needed a guest bed for my 5 year daughter to sleep on in my room since she had to give up her room to Auntie. It is quite comfy. She loves it, I laid there myself and I agree. Some reviews mentioned the foul smell, that wasn’t the case for us. She has been using it for over a week and so far so good.
- This mattress is Awesome! My son, husband (he is over 200 pounds) and I find it very comfortable. We purchased to use as a guest mattress. My son loves it so much we are thinking of using it as a mattress pad on his bed. He has taken over the mattress using it as a wrestling mat. I’m sure that’s not an intended use, but it can handle a 5 year old wrestling on it.
- I bought these because I was moving and needed a temporary bed on the floor for a few days until I got to my new location. I bought two pads so I could put them side by side and have a bigger bed. Based on the reviews I thought they would be thick enough this way. However, after just a short time I realized the thickness wasn’t great enough and my body was actually hitting the floor. Not hard, but pretty much down to the bottom of the pad. So I put one ON TOP of the other and it made a nice comfy pad to sleep on. Maybe a small child could sleep on just one of these, but an adult (I’m about 150 lbs) needs two so that it’s thicker. Anyway, if you need an occasional guest bed, or like in my case a temporary bed for a couple of days then buy two and stack them and it will be a nice bed. Much better than a clumsy, heavy airbed like I’ve had before and loses air in the middle of the night. This was better than an airbed.
- This is super comfortable. It is supportive enough for a heavy adult although I bought it mainly for the kids sleepovers. It’s also great for when you have a sick child and would like to have them in your room but not in your bed. I’m going to get another one as this one landed in front of the tv and I can’t get my daughter off of it!
- Ordered two of these memory foam mattresses and I received the first of the shipment today. I promptly opened the box to check out my purchase, and to let it expand to it’s full thickness, and I have to say that it was money well spent. I had previously purchased a king-size air mattress and while it was very comfortable, it took up my whole living room when it was inflated. Still needing a guest sleeping solution, I had cushions made for my banquette seating (which cost me $745!!!!), figuring we could put these cushions on the floor for my grand daughters to sleep on when they stayed over. These cushions took up much less room than the air mattress, but they were horribly (firm) uncomfortable. I ordered these mattresses as a last resort, thinking that I could use them on top of the cushions I’d had made and what a difference it made!! I have a Sealy Posturpedic mattress on my own bed and I found the mattress-cushion combo to be as comfortable as my own bed. I think that I could even convince my husband to give up our bed to guests, now that we have other suitable sleeping arrangements. I have tried the mattress on top of the couch and almost fell asleep on it….it was that comfortable….but have yet to try it on the floor. I think that it would be comfortable enough for kids, but to use it by itself on the floor, I don’t think it would be comfortable enough for an adult to sleep on comfortably. The mattress comes with two straps to keep it rolled up, as well as a blue fabric bag to store it in. I rolled the bed up by myself and put the straps on it without any difficulty, and it was very easy to slip it into it’s storage bag. It is quite large when rolled up in it’s storage bag and I will have to clean out a closet to keep the two mattresses in it, but overall I am very pleased with my purchase. I am so happy to finally have a comfortable sleeping solution for my grandchildren (ages 6 and 12) when they stay over.
- Ordered the 11th of September, got it 2 weeks later. Tracking the mattress was TERRIBLE. It was never updated I didn’t know when it arrived at my local walmart, the system didn’t even send me an email to let me know. From the 13th to the 19th the tracking said arrived in bentonville. For the length of time it took, I could have drove to bentonville and got it myself since it’s less than 2 hours away. This mattress is comfortable… that’s the only good thing about it. Got my son a new bed so wanted to get him a new mattress, so found this and took the gamble on it. Took the mattress out exactly as instructed, let it “absorb air” for 3 days and it still was probably 2 inches thick and it’s not a standard twin size “mattress.” My son’s bed is about 5 inches wider than this mattress, I would honestly say this mattress is the size of a cot. Took it back to my local walmart. Just saying, my memory foam topper is thicker than this so called mattress.
