The Hessaire 2,200 CFM Evaporative Cooler is compact in size, pleasing in aesthetics, and the performance exceeds coolers of a much larger size. This performance is achieved through expanding air-intake areas to the hi-density XeL50 rigid media. These coolers have three media panels instead of a single panel found on most mobile coolers. The three panels allow more air-intake area and reduce pre-rotation of the air to the prop, which translates into lower static pressure and more efficient air delivery to the prop. The hi-density XeL50 media provides 80 percent more evaporation surface compared to regular density media. This means higher evaporation efficiency and cooler temperatures. Patented axial prop is energy efficient and throws cool air farther.Features an oscillating design for maximum cooling. Molded with a polypropylene resin, creating a strong, yet lightweight design. - We live in an apt. in a dry climate & the only thing we could seem to find was A/C’s that needed to have a tube inserted a window (not convenient). We researched in town & on line. We found that sales people were telling us No Problem you can use these A/C’s without using the tubes. After much research the true is that yes you can use the A/C units without the window tubes but all you get is the Fan Not The A/C, beware . . . This unit needs to be placed in front of a open door or window with windows cracked in the other rooms to pull the air through the house. It has a rotating fan feature if you wish to use it (the fan turns inside the unit & is Extremely effective). It is Very easy to use & very sturdy. If you go to the Hessaire website you can is all the ways it can & is being used ( it is actually a commercial product). It has several settings & is Very Simple to use & if you have it on High it will Freeze you out !!! It is for a Dry Climate, not a Humid one & holds about 10 gals of water so you are not continually refilling & rolls around easily on industrial type rollers (they are the only assembly you need to do, very simple) . . . We Love It !!!
- I Love the fan on this unit along with the fact it can hold 10 gallons of water at a time. Keeps the place cool. I opted for a 4 year warranty just in case I need a replacement down the road. I might buy another one.
- Works like a dream. Very strong air current. Cools down the area very quickly.
- I love this cooler! Almost too cool when the sun goes down. Even on low the fan is powerful. The only downside: It does need to be filled up manually however, and goes through water pretty quickly, so carrying gallons of heavy water to it every 2-3 hours.
- Fan is amazing. Makes it VERY humid inside but definitely cools down temp.
