- Title says it all. Excellent step stool! Was shocked to see it less in the store but I guess with heavier items like this they have to factor in the free shipping into the online price. Usually things are either the same or cheaper online, particularly with the sales tax being halved for ship to home items. Will make note of this oddity for future purchases.

- This stool is a good height for the painting job I bought it for. I was able to reach all areas while standing on a firm surface. It opens and closes with ease. The height makes other projects easier to do. I can store it easily as it is not bulky.

Because it’s lighter, it seems a little less sturdy than my old step stool, but it certainly allows me to reach everything I need to reach. I believe the weight limit is 200 lb. so a heavier weight person might not feel as safe on it.
