- Way many times the “As seen on TV” products are either filmsy or not really made well/long lasting, etc. This product is good. I would have given it 5 stars but was suprised to learn that only one side of the outlets rotated; I had thought both sides rotated which they don’t…one side is a fixed mount…SURPISE! Other than that, the product is made out of good materials, has indicator lights and I believe will work well. Walmart had the best price on it (less than $13) I’ve seen.
- Not quite what I expected. From most of the adds, you think that both sides pivot. Only one does.
- The side socket is it! The clutter with all the cords, problem solved. Thanks to the inventor!
- A little pricey for my budget, but it works well and it does help save space and cuts down on cords that don’t bend or need a lot of room to do a simple plug in from the front.
- Right price!!! All electrical cords look more organized. The ability to swivel sideways is a great invention.
- TV commercial gave impression both sides rotated, it also said it was surge protected but did not explain that surge protection was a one time event, Unit must be replaced if further surge protection is needed. The unit is well constructed, nice looking and does take up a lot less room. Even though only one side rotated, all outlets wind-up to the side so it does the same job, worked well for me.
- Love this for an outlet in a tight space like behind a nightstand or end table. I bought one to try then bought a few more to keep on hand!! Great product!!
- I bought one of these “Side Socket” critters at Walmart. One outlet sockets *refused* to accept a plug, and the two bottom-most sockets didn’t make a ground connection. I disassembled the unit (voids the warrany), but a non-working unit is of no use to me. Three of the six sockets had bent/misshapen contacts, and one of the ground contacts was so badly mangled that it was completely useless. Also, on one socket, the plastic for the ground connection looks like it was partly melted with a soldering iron. What a worthless piece of junk!
