Reviews

  • I was a bit hesitant to purchase this controller as I wanted something compatible with all my games and so far it is! Arkham City, Darksiders 2, Assassin’s Creed 3, Dead Space 2 etc. Worth the buy! 😀
  • works exactly like a ps2 or ps3 controler minus the rummble feature. i use it for ffxi(just have to use the program it comes with and put it on Direct input easy to do) and i LOVE it i plan to buy a second one for my other pc.
  • It performs well. I had to adjust the sensitivity of the left and right analog sticks, but it’s easy to do with the software that accompanies the game pad. I had it up and running in no time. I set up a profile to map buttons to keyboard and mouse controls without any problems.
  • The D-Pad feels a bit clunky, but it performs well. The rest of the pad is great and the software that comes from logitech works amazing. It’s able to auto-launch different button profiles (button to key/command mappings) based on the executable you run. Works great for old games in that mode. Also has XInput mode for new games, although I haven’t tried it for that yet. Works great for Steam too.
  • I purchased this to be used on a Mac and it works perfectly. It even works on the MAME arcade emulator! Just switch the bottom switch to “D” and it works great. I had to program certain buttons within some of the game’s preferences, but this was not a hard task at all. As for the feel of the game pad, it fits my large adult hands as well as my 5 yr old son’s. In my opinion, this is a great value for the quality and functionality. I’ll be buying a second!
  • Now that a lot of the old 90’s console games are migrating to Steam and Origin, I wanted to be able to play like I did back then. This Game pad is awesome for just that! The computer treats it just like any other joystick and you can program the buttons in any games option menu. It has two modes that can be chosen via the switch on the beck of the game pad, one mode allows classic console controller play, while the second mode has a modern use of the L2 and R2 buttons as triggers. The DPad’s innovative approach to modernize console controllers has a lot better feel to the fingers and is more easily noticeable where you are on the DPad. The dual analog sticks have press buttons built in for convenience and are as responsive as you might expect. The action buttons look nice but don’t do anything beyond basic button mashing. There is a select, start and enter button in the middle and nice bonus map button disguised as a logitec logo gem. The game pad has four trigger buttons, two are digital and two are analog when in the second mode which is nice for those games that require a certain amount of finesse instead of just push and hold. I have no opinion on the durability of the game pad as I only had it a month, but it seams sturdy so I would be pleased if it lasted a long but not surprised. I gave the game pad a 5 star rating because I am surprised by how nice it is compared to the price, however I gave it a 4 for value because little things like back lights and rapid fire mode aren’t available.
  • Cannot play Nintendo 64 Zelda game as it doesn’t have enough button for all the function that the Zelda game needs. The rotary also does not work properly. It keep making the character in the game move backward for no reason and is hard to control. For the price it is not worth it.
